作为一名医疗口译员,我有幸与由高度专业的护士、医生、技术人员以及其他专家组成的医疗团队合作。这些人擅长批判性思维,始终将患者安全与护理放在首位。

然而,在我们的工作中,语言专业能力与操作效率之间是否存在区别呢?答案是肯定的,而且,我必须承认,这并不是我自己发现的,而是来自于经验丰富的高级语言专家(SLS)、支持性的团队领导者,以及敬业的培训师的集体指导,帮助我意识到以持续流程改进的视角看待工作的必要性。

这些导师为我提供了宝贵的见解:

高级语言专家(SLS): 他们教会我如何批判性地分析自己的口译表现,专注于在高风险医疗场景中保持准确性、清晰性和效率。
团队领导者: 他们不仅鼓励我反思工作流程中的挑战,还帮助我发现改进的领域,提供建设性的反馈,并协助解决复杂案例中遇到的问题。
培训师: 通过专业的培训课程,他们让我了解如何在保持语言和文化准确性的同时优化沟通流程的最佳实践。

同样具有变革性的是与资深口译员和同事分享经验的机会,这些讨论往往揭示了应对挑战的新策略,例如管理同步口译,或以专业和同理心应对困难的互动。从他们的成功和失误中学习,让我拓宽了技能范围,并采用了新的方法来提升效率和效果。

在这些见解的武装下,我开始专注于实际方法来提升自己的表现。无论是简化电话连接流程、开发应对紧急情况的技巧,还是寻找减轻口译员疲劳的方法,我所得到的指导让我能够以解决问题的思维方式开展工作。

以流程驱动的视角看待挑战彻底改变了我对口译工作的理解,这份工作已不再只是弥合语言差距,还包括为提升操作效率的更广泛目标作出贡献。通过将语言专业技能与流程改进相结合,我深刻理解到,绩效提升是一段持续的旅程。

这段旅程并不是我独自完成的,而是一次协作的努力,汇集了导师、同事以及团队领导者的集体智慧,他们致力于为患者护理创造一个无缝高效的环境。我们共同努力,确保每一次互动,无论是与患者、医生还是家属的交流,都能达到最高的沟通和护理标准。

通过拥抱持续改进的心态,我在工作中找到了更大的满足感,并更加深刻地认识到自己在医疗体系中所扮演的角色。这种视角不仅增强了我的技能,也让我更加确信,即使是微小的改变也能为所有相关人员带来深远的影响。
